I CAN leverages its grassroots knowledge from delivering Autistic-led employment, mentoring programs, training and consultancy to develop reports which update stakeholders on our evidence base and submissions for Australian parliaments and governments which draw policy recommendations from our evidence base.

ANNUAL SOCIAL IMPACT REPORTS
Our flagship mentoring programs nurture social connections, self-esteem and skill development in Autistic young people. Our annual social impact reports provide a comprehensive summary of the positive results achieved by our school-based and online group mentoring programs in a given year. In 2024-2025, we included the results of independent evaluations and social impact reporting in our annual report.

As Australia’s largest Autistic-led and predominantly Autistic-staffed organisation, we are committed to leading positive social change for the Autistic, autism and disability communities. The following submissions reflect our contributions to important state and federal policies and initiatives, including the National Autism Strategy and NDIS.
