Evaluation Manager – I CAN Network Ltd
- Strong focus on managing internal evaluations
- Responsibility for major funding reports
- Responsibility for school program evaluation reports
- Supporting external and internal stakeholders
- Maximum Term Part-Time role (22.8 hours per week; 0.6 FTE) for 12 months
- $100,783.28 (Social Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award (SCHADS) (2010) level 5) paid pro rata to 0.6 FTE (excludes superannuation and salary packaging benefits)
About You
We are looking for an analytical and highly-organised individual who has excellent communication skills to deliver I CAN’s internal program evaluations and impact reporting. You will be able to communicate, written and verbally, with internal and external stakeholders. You will be able to maintain, enhance and prepare evaluation tools and analyse data to monitor and measure the performance of I CAN programs. You will be able to identify insights from data for ongoing program quality and improvement, funding applications and policy submissions.
From a practical sense, you will possess:
- Strong management / analytical skills of quantitative and qualitative data.
- Experience in developing surveys and analysing and reporting on quantitative data.
- Experience in designing, undertaking and reporting on qualitative research.
- Excellent written and report-writing skills.
- Exposure to the dynamics of government and non-government funding.
- Exposure to the different interests of government and philanthropic funders.
- Project management and time management skills.
- Experience with the Google Suite, including Google Sheets.
- Strong skills with Microsoft Suite, especially Excel.
- Flexibility to work extra hours if required.
About the Role
Reporting to the CEO, the role will be responsible for:
- Responsibility for the Internal Evaluation Process end-to-end at I CAN®
- Responsibility for project managing and developing Major Funding Reports.
- Responsibility for developing school program evaluation reports and other impact reporting.
- Responsibility for supporting Independent Evaluations, in particular the Cube Group’s independent evaluation on the I CAN Expansion in Victoria.
- Supporting internal stakeholders with select grant/tender applications.
- Supporting public policy submissions.

School Program Mentor Position
(Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award, Level 1)
We have an exciting opportunity for people to join our team in the role of Mentor, delivering the I CAN Network Mentoring Program to school students in Shepparton / Numurkah and the surrounding region:
Regional Victoria: Shepparton, Numurkah and surrounds

- Flexible working hours – Perfect for students or someone wanting stable casual work
Our Mentors:
- Are Autistic themselves OR passionate about using life experiences with young people to change the narrative from I CAN’T to I CAN for Autistic children and teens
- Love to go into primary and secondary schools and get paid to have discussions, do fun activities and play games with Autistic students, that empower them with optimism, belonging, self-acceptance, pride and confidence.
- Are happy to jump in the car, put on your favorite song or enjoy the quiet time while driving to and from schools (Driver’s License and own transport preferred)
- Work in an environment with a 50% difference, meaning a minimum of half of our staff are Autistic.

Lead Facilitators – Greater Geelong and Mornington Peninsula
- Reviewing staff performance in school programs
- Content Development
- Training Facilitators and Mentors on service delivery
Casual position – SCHADS Level 5
We are looking for an individual who wants casual employment and who can easily access schools across Greater Geelong and Colac Otway, or the Mornington Peninsula and surrounds (current driver’s license and car desirable). We need an individual who is sensitive to the support requirements of people with disability, and highly confident and experienced with group facilitation.
You have a genuine passion for the individual strengths of autistic/ neurodivergent students. You will be able to lead by example, deliver programs in schools and train colleagues on student engagement techniques.
From a practical sense, you will possess:
- Proven track record working in schools, such as in a teaching or allied health role
- Understanding of program design
- Content development experience
- Group facilitation experience
- Scheduling and Rostering experience
- Stakeholder relationship management and staff supervision experience (e.g. good skills with giving and receiving feedback)
- Strong administrative and IT skills
About the Role
Reporting to either the Customer Service Manager – Regional Victoria, or Customer Service Manager – Greater Melbourne, the Lead Facilitator will be responsible for the following:
- Supporting the Customer Service Manager, particularly with program quality and staff training
- Reviewing staff performance with program delivery
- Improving content and materials
- Scheduling, designing and delivering staff training on service delivery
- Scheduling I CAN services, as directed by the Customer Service Manager/ Lead
- Delivering high quality mentoring programs and speaking engagements

What is the time commitment involved in being a mentor?
The commitment of school-based mentors involves a fixed number of hours per mentoring session and availability during school hours for our I CAN School® programs.
The commitment of online group mentors also involves a fixed number of hours per mentoring session and availability on certain weekday evenings. We provide training and ongoing professional development for all team members.
